Not availableSwiggy and Tuckly
No Swiggy integration with Tuckly, and this page explains why. How Swiggy orders reach a POS, commissions, and running an online ordering system beside it.
What would sync, and its status
| Capability | Status | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Receive Swiggy orders in Tuckly | Not supported | Swiggy's developer portal could not be verified. Petpooja, Restroworks and UrbanPiper document Swiggy order flow into their systems. |
| Push your Tuckly menu to Swiggy | Not supported | |
| Run Swiggy alongside your direct ordering site | Supported | Operationally standard. Both channels end at the same kitchen. |
Limitations
- There is no Tuckly-to-Swiggy connection in either direction, and none is planned for the launch period.
- We could not verify a public Swiggy developer programme, so this page relies on what POS vendors document.
- Commission figures are reported ranges from dated news sources, not Swiggy's rate card. Your contract governs.
Who it suits
- Restaurant owners who searched for a Swiggy integration and want a straight answer
- Restaurants on Swiggy that want a direct channel for repeat customers
Two different questions
Searches for a Swiggy integration usually mean one of two things. Either the owner wants Swiggy orders to appear on the same screen as everything else, or they want the menu they maintain in one place to show up on Swiggy too. Both are reasonable. Neither is something Tuckly does, and it helps to understand why before deciding whether that matters.
Where Swiggy orders go today
Swiggy orders reach a restaurant’s POS through the POS vendor. Petpooja lists Swiggy among the online-ordering platforms it integrates with. Restroworks states on its marketplace page that Swiggy orders flow directly into the Restroworks system. UrbanPiper Hub is built around collecting orders from channels like Swiggy and pushing them into whatever POS the restaurant already has. If your Swiggy tablet orders already print in the kitchen without someone retyping them, one of those pipes is doing the work.
We tried to read Swiggy’s own developer documentation and could not: the portal we found rendered empty. We are not going to describe an API we have not seen, so this page relies on what the POS vendors publish about their Swiggy connections.
Where a direct site fits
Tuckly is a channel of its own, in the same sense that Swiggy is a channel. Orders placed on your site arrive on the Tuckly order screen and, where a POS connection exists, would be pushed into the same POS that receives your Swiggy orders. The two channels would meet at the POS, not inside each other. The status of each POS connection is on its own page in the integrations directory, and none of them are live yet.
Menus are the one thing to keep in step by hand until then. If the chicken runs out, it comes off both. A POS that owns the menu makes that a single action once the connections exist.
What Swiggy costs, from public reporting
Swiggy’s commission is in your partner agreement and is not published as a rate card. Reported figures, with dates:
- Business Standard reported in August 2024 that Swiggy typically charges commissions ranging from 17 to 25 per cent.
- Business Standard reported in June 2025 that Bernstein estimated take rates of 18 to 20 per cent.
- Inc42 reported in June 2025 that NRAI insiders put commissions at around 25% to 35% across the two large platforms.
On the customer side, Inc42 reported in March 2026 that Swiggy raised its platform fee to 17.58 rupees including GST, after Zomato’s increase to 14.9 rupees before GST. That is a per-order charge the customer sees, separate from your commission, and it is one reason a direct order can look cheaper to the customer as well as to you.
Whatever rate is in your contract, the commission calculator turns it into a monthly and annual figure against your order volume, and does not assume every order would move.
Running both
The usual pattern is not either-or. Swiggy brings customers who have never heard of your restaurant, and for a new kitchen that reach is the whole point. A direct site gives the people who already know you a place to order where no commission is deducted and where their name and number stay with you.
So the direct link goes everywhere a repeat customer might look: the sticker on the bag, the receipt, the Google Business Profile, the Instagram bio, the WhatsApp reply. The alternatives to food delivery apps page sets out the realistic options, and the India page covers the payment, GST and FSSAI points that apply to a direct channel.
In one line
No integration with Swiggy, in either direction, and that is stated rather than hidden. Keep Swiggy for reach, use your own site for regulars, and connect both to one POS when the POS connection you need is available.
Swiggy questions
Does Tuckly integrate with Swiggy?
No. Swiggy orders do not appear in Tuckly and your Tuckly menu is not sent to Swiggy. Swiggy order ingestion in India runs through POS and middleware providers, and Petpooja, Restroworks and UrbanPiper each document it.
What commission does Swiggy charge?
It is set in your partner agreement. Business Standard reported in August 2024 that Swiggy typically charges commissions ranging from 17 to 25 per cent, and in June 2025 cited Bernstein estimates of 18 to 20 per cent take rates across the two large platforms. Inc42 quoted NRAI insiders in June 2025 at around 25% to 35%. Use your own figure in the commission calculator.
What do customers pay Swiggy per order?
Inc42 reported in March 2026 that Swiggy raised its customer platform fee to 17.58 rupees including GST, following Zomato's increase. That is a per-order charge to the customer, separate from restaurant commission.
Should I keep Swiggy if I take direct orders?
For most restaurants, yes. Swiggy is where new customers find you. A direct site is where repeat customers save you the commission and leave their details with you rather than with the marketplace. The direct ordering vs delivery apps page sets out the trade-offs.
How do Swiggy orders get into my POS?
Through your POS vendor's own Swiggy connection. Petpooja lists Swiggy among its online-ordering integrations, Restroworks states that Swiggy orders flow directly into its system, and UrbanPiper Hub exists largely to route marketplace orders into a POS. A Tuckly POS connection, where available, would bring direct orders into the same POS through a separate pipe.
Is there a Swiggy developer portal I can point my developer at?
We looked and could not verify one; the page we found rendered empty. We are not going to describe an API we have not read. If Swiggy publishes partner documentation, this page will be updated. The integrations directory lists every system with its current status.
